Groups & Events Info

Groups
A unique feature of the Sleeman Lower Mainland Curling Club Championships (SLMCCC) is  "Groups". These Groups are made up of 4 teams, one per Event (Men's, Women's, Open Mixed & Novice). Each group will have 4 clubs represented. All of the points earned (points values below) by the teams will contribute to their groups total score.

This means that pace of play is critical to have the best chance to score as many points as possible for your group. Also that every end of every game counts! Even if that game's Win/Loss result is clear. Lastly this means that every game for every team matters! For the 3rd game in each event the 1v2 and 9v10 games contribute equally towards their groups scores.
