VCC curlers win silver at Canadian senior women's championship

VCC practice members Grace MacInnes (far right) and Diane Gushulak (second from the right) finished second in the Everest Canadian Senior Curling Championships, Dec. 6 -11 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. They played front end on Team BC, skipped by Mary-Anne Arsenault, losing the championship final to four-time senior champion Sherry Anderson of Saskatchewan. The Vancouver Curling Club is located at Hillcrest Centre in the facility that hosted the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games curling competitions. With eight sheets of ice in a modern, bright and accessible building, the VCC has over 1,400 members who participate in 28 weekly leagues.
