Keep your belongings safe
Unfortunately, we’ve noted the theft of some curling brooms and other personal effects within our lower lobby over the past few months, but more so in the past few weeks. Hillcrest Center is a public community center, and we can’t always control who enters the curling club, which leaves us vulnerable to theft of items left in the open. Parks board staff have also noted an increase in small theft throughout Hillcrest Center overall.
We would just like to take the opportunity to remind our members to secure their personal effects and ensure that you are taking your belongings with you after games always. If you believe you have lost something, please check with staff as we regularly place items in our lost and found box.
Women's lockers are still available to be rented for the remainder of the season for $25 at https://vancouver.curling.io/en/events/10461-women-s-lockers.
