Reminder to all League Members about the Speed of Play
Let’s play briskly and safely to maximize everyone’s enjoyment. Here are some suggestions to consider:
1. everyone, know what sheet you’re going to be playing on
2. skips, tell your team members how you’ll communicate shots (what signs you use) and discuss your strategy on the other side of the glass
3. thirds, toss the coin on the other side of the glass
4. everyone, go on the ice as soon as you are ready and have a practice slide or two on the sheet you’re going to play on
5. everyone be in position to shake hands and start play at your scheduled draw time
6. leads, whose team has scored, do not help sort rocks, get your own rock and get ready to throw it
7. everyone, as soon as your opposing member has released her rock, be at the hack with your cleaned rock ready to throw
