Leagues

League play and programs dominate the activity at the VCC every day between September and April.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran looking for a highly competitive environment or a chance to be extremely social, the VCC offers a league that meets your needs (see chart below – click on name of league for detailed info).

SUN Shamrock 9:00-11:30am Men's-only league; annual random draw team selection process.
Skill level: All
Pacific Rim 12-2pm and 2:15-4:15pm (also Monday night) All-inclusive league for gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-gendered and GLBTQ-friendly straight curlers.
Skill level: All
Purple & Gold 4:30-6:30pm

Skill level: 2+ years of experience

Sunday Open 6:45-8:45pm Open social league
Skill level: Competitive and friendly
Novice 9:00-11:00pm Camaraderie amongst all participating players and teams.
Skill level: Beginners with goals of fun and improvement
MON Daytime Ladies 9:30-11:30am (also Thursday) Women's social league
Skill level: All, non-competitive
Novice 6:45-8:45pm or 9:00-11:00pm (alternating weekly) Camaraderie amongst all participating players and teams.

SAT Junior Development 10:00-11:30am Younger curlers (10-18 yrs.) learning the game and developing skills while having fun.

Rentals 12:00pm-onwards *Hourly rentals and block bookings of ice time available to external groups.
