VCC team made playoffs at BC Scotties

The Lindsay Hudyma team from VCC won their last game to finish the round robin at 4-3 and make the playoffs at the BC Scotties in Quesnel. However, they bowed out in the 3-4 Page playoff game on Saturday, Feb. 2. Try curling on Saturday, Mar. 9

The next Try Curling Event is at VCC on the afternoon of Saturday, Mar. 9. Anyone eight years and older is invited to try curling with equipment and instruction provided for only $5 per person. Click here for more information and registration.

Curl BC officiating course at VCC

VCC is hosting a Curl BC level 1 officiating couse on Saturday, Mar. 16 to train timekeepers and game observers for the AMJ Campbell BC Mixed Curling Championship at the club, April 11-14. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer timekeeper or game observer, please let us know be sending an email to vccspecialevents@gmail.com.

VCC members can put messages on Legacy Rock handles

VCC members now have the chance to put their name and a personalized message on rock handles in use on the ice. Proceeds will support junior, high school and blind curling programs. Click here for more information on the Legacy Rocks program.

VCC curler comes close at Pacific Asia Championship

The Chinese Taipei team (Taiwan) has finished with a 4-4 record at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships in Korea, one spot back of a playoff spot and a chance to qualify for the world championship. The team included Thursday Open League curler Nick Hsu (second from the right) at third. VCC junior program head coach Brad Burton coached the Chinese Taipei team.

2018 Harvest Bonspiel


The 2018 Harvest Bonspiel saw fantastic curling in the house of VCC.

A weekend of awesome curling, Halloween hi-jinx and curling camaraderie all started on Friday and culminated in the crowning of a new victor on Sunday.

VCC Brazilians in World Mixed Curling Championship

The Winn Rentals World Mixed Curling Championship ran Oct. 13-20 in Kelowna with a VCC team taking part! The Brazilian team, left to right, is lead Erick Santos, second Luciana Barrella, third Claudio Alves and skip Anne Shibuya. Anne's husband, Matthew Gervan, coached the team.
