GETTING TO THE CLUB DURING THE GAMES
For the first week of February, when league play is still underway from February 1st to 7th, members are reminded to access the club off of West 29th Ave from Cambie Street. As VANOC continues to prepare the neighbourhood for the Olympic and Paralympic Curling competitions, there will be continued traffic changes and adjustments.
VANOC, though, has confirmed that all club members will be able to drive to the club and park in the club parking lot during league play up to February 7th, provided that we all enter the club parking lot from Dinmont Avenue via West 29th and Cambie Street.
Once the league hiatus begins on February 8th, VANOC will bring increased street changes into effect. It will mean members cannot drive to the club (or even get to or park within a couple of blocks of the VCC).
Members and all of the club's guests can still visit the club to take part in the exciting activities planned for the VCC, but you will need to either walk, ride your bike or take transit.
