Club Access during the Games
VISIT THE VCC TO WATCH OLYMPIC CURLING OR ENJOY PRACTICE ICE
Once the VCC's league hiatus begins on February 8th, the club is still open to members and guests of the club. We do, though, have some corporate, external rentals already booked. There will also be special curling clinics available (more details by clicking on the menu item to the left), and the lounge will be open so you can watch exciting Olympic action on the televisions. While the club will be closed to additional visitors during our corporate bookings, members and guests can visit the club at all other times.
To cover our additional overhead costs during the Games, there will be a minor entry fee for members from February 8th to 28th. Effective February 16th, the minor entry fee was reduced to $1 / day for regular and practice members.
Please note that the BC Liquor Control Board has emphasized that the club must honor our lounge occupancy levels. Therefore, the club encourages members to come experience the Olympic experience at the VCC during the Games, but you are reminded that our legal occupancy levels will dictate the number of people that can be in the club at any one time.
Lastly, members are reminded that Open Ice is also available during the Games. During times when the ice is not being used for corporate bookings and clinics, members are able to enjoy practice ice times.
